Welcome to Project PATH (Positive Assessment Towards Health)!

Hello, my name is Dr. Sunghee Lee. I am an Associate Research Professor at the Institute of Social Research, University of Michigan and a principal investigator of Project PATH.

The media has been reporting significant increases in substance use and use-related overdose episodes and deaths. Despite this, very little is known about the health and well-being of the community. Project PATH attempts to provide an effective way to hear from the Greater Detroit community in research projects in order to address gaps in knowledge.

Project PATH administers a survey questionnaire and does not involve any testing. As a token of appreciation for your participation, we provide $40-$80 incentives. If interested in participating in the study, please contact us (call/text: 734-496-7071 or email [email protected]).

A group of local experts, including health department officers and service agency members, are advising this project so that the collected data is useful for addressing the community needs. The data collection is funded by the National Institutes of Health (Grant number: R01 AG060936; PI: Lee).
